Goodbye
This may be my last post here. I am in the process of finding a new site to display my photos on, which may take a while...& I could really benefit from some time away from putting sooo much effort into posting at the moment. In the image above, we were standing in a long line outside of the Smithsonian National Museum of American History waiting to pass through security. We had been walking around at the Folklife Festival nearby when we were ordered to evacuate to one of the nearest buildings for protection against a major oncoming storm. While in line, this lady's skirt quickly caught my attention. Hence, I asked to photograph her & her son. She had previously made a peace sign with her hands for the photo, which her son immediately copied, but which ended up as a wave of some sort. :)

hi patty ... been a while since i blogged, good to hear abt your new site comin up. my mail is still pending. am taking for granted that u will forgive me. just settling down after a lot of chaos, started doin my forest trips for photography, taking it on seriously now, been wonderfull, will post more pics on my blog. will catch up soon.

you can use picasa webmail to upload and display your photos .. i use it and it's very cool. one uploads the pictures to google's server .. so no server space required .. and you can directly upload the pics from piacasa ..

Time sure goes by fast. I can hardly believe it's been 3 weeks since my last post. After 1 week of not posting anything, I suddenly felt pretty depressed that morning & realized I was missing the whole blog thing. I didn't feel bad for very long, but I still miss it. I may continue my abstract blog sometime in the future, but I'm not sure yet.
Today is my brother's birthday & I've just finished decorating things! :D
