Elan

A young boy I photographed, with permission, at one of the outdoor(but enclosed) areas of the United States Botanic Garden. Photograph as I may, I could not get him to keep a smile long enough for me to capture it. :)

He's a cute little guy...I know how difficult it can be to capture those fleeting smiles too!

Thanks for your lovely comments about the mosaic table. It's actually in my family's backyard. It was handmade by an older gentleman and was purchased at a garage sale for $10, believe it or not. It's a beautiful piece of work isn't it? :o)

:) Right before he made that face, he had the most beautiful smile! ...which is why I think the top image is so funny. His expressions changed every second.

thanks David.

Wow, love the first one especially, the honesty of a child's unhidden mood, beautiful!
